Hiking the Toubkal for Muslims

Climbing over 14 000 ft the high peaks of the Atlas Mountains trekking trails for Islamic Outposts...

This Halal tour itinerary caters directly to the fantasies of mountain enthusiasts, who will climb to heights of over 14,000 feet. On these Morocco hiking tours, you will discover the unparalleled beauty of countless natural wonders as you travel the Atlas Mountains’ craggy surface, both walking or horseback riding. Halal with Islamic activities. Best Morocco hiking tours either in pre-packaged Morocco small group tours or on personalized private expeditions.

When one thinks of high mountains and vast deserts, Morocco should immediately come to mind, offering some of the most impressive mountains and desert treks to hikers and trekkers worldwide. Additionally, its indigenous populations of Berbers and Moors provide thought-provoking insight into the ancient cultures of these mountains that differ remarkably from our own; nevertheless, they are very accommodating and hospitable. One should know how generous mountain cultures are. The Toubkal Berbers are renowned for their hospitality, joy of life, and generosity. Those who dwell in the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara Desert have long fascinated ethnologists, as they represent cultures unchanged by time. Our Halal treks in Morocco have native Muslim Berber guides who will enhance your travels through these little-known regions. These Islamic journeys cover regions unique to the kingdom, from the lofty crags and screes of the Toubkal to the cedar forests of Michlefen and plunging gorges and karsts of the M’Goun valley. You will explore unusual rock formations, the pristine oases of the Jbel Sehro, and the enchanting groves overflowing with almonds, saffron crocuses, and cliff dwellings. You will also discover the picturesque plateaus, blooming wadis, oases, palm groves, and the voluptuous dunes and tents of the desert’s nomad cultures. Nestled among the high peaks of the Atlas, you will find cultures and vistas untouched by the modernity of the twenty-first century. We welcome you to share an experience only an insider can offer.

Besides our set group of Morocco hiking and trekking tours, we also put together custom-made tours in the Toubkal Mountains and other peaks of the Atlas Mountains throughout the kingdom to meet your requirements. We can customize a journey for you, a family, or even a small group of friends, following any route at any time of the year except January for the Toubkal. Other peaks are available throughout the year for any mountain enthusiast. All our Morocco hiking tours and mountain treks, including the Toubkal Mountains, include English-speaking, experienced local guide(s), a whole support team to carry your luggage and general equipment by sherpas and on horseback, all accommodation (modern igloo tents / Berber guesthouses/mountain refuge), all meals are cooked freshly for you with Moroccan flavor. If you prefer independent travel, we can personalize a special Morocco private tour just for you.

Climbing the peaks of the Toubkal is a treat for all hikers, especially those who wish to mix adventure discoveries with cultural encounters. Visiting cliff-hanging villages and exploring how these Berber dwellers cope with their daily life is like stepping back into neolithic times.
